Foreign Ministry says it'll reconsider UNESCO cooperation

Israel came out against a vote by UNESCO Monday to admit the Palestinian Authority as a full member, and seemed to threaten to sever its ties with the international body.
"The State of Israel will consider its further steps and ongoing cooperation with the organization," the Foreign Ministry said in a statement released Monday afternoon.
"This is a unilateral Palestinian maneuver which will bring no change on the ground but further removes the possibility for a peace agreement. This decision will not turn the Palestinian Authority into an actual state yet places unnecessary burdens on the route to renewing negotiations," the Foreign Ministry said.
