Former Petah Tikva teacher found guilty on pimping charges

Petah Tikva Magistrate's Court found a former teacher and resident from the the city guilty on the charges of pimping a minor and managing a prostitution business on Tuesday.

Michael Farber was found guilty of running his prostitution business out of a building he rented in the city between June and December 2009. His employees consisted of several women, including a 17-year-old girl.

The girl was said to have been paid 200 shekels for each client she serviced. During the trial, the 17-year-old girl told the court that she found the job through a newspaper advertisement and lied when asked about her age, claiming she was 18 and had lost her identity card.
