Following Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas's speech at the UN General Assembly on Thursday,  Meretz leader Zehava Gal-On called on Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyhau to commit to a permanent solution with the Palestinians based on pre-1967 borders.

"The price for missing this opportunity will be great and so Netanyahu should not allow the right-wing to frustrate an agreement for a two state solution," Gal-On said in a statement.
