An IDF fighter from the Golani Brigade on Thursday was lightly injured after a stray bullet hit the back of his hand during training at the brigade's base in Regavim.

He was treated at the scene and evacuated to Hillel Yaffe Hospital in Hadera.

Training at the base was halted until the end of an investigation into the incident.
