Gov't appoints new director of Economy Ministry

The government on Sunday approved Amit Land as the director-general of the Economy and Trade Ministry.
“I am confident that Amit will reliably lead us to the goals we have set, eliminating market concentration, lowering the cost of living and integrating special populations into the workforce,” Economy and Trade Minister Naftali Bennett said. Lang, 43, was a former executive at Orange and has also held budgetary positions at the Finance Ministry. He will replace Sharon Kadmi.
