Hackers broke into NBC's twitter account on Friday and published a false report about a terrorist attack at New York's ground zero.

A second post reported that an airplane was hijacked and crashed into the area.

NBC tweeted an apology on Saturday, saying that "Our account is secure and under control. Apologize for the scare. We value your trust."
