A 23-year-old Palestinian was injured after he was shot by Border Police in the village of Bido in Binyamin during a protest against the security fence.

According to security officials, the injured man is known Hamas operative who was previously involved in other incidents. He will be transferred to authorities for investigation.

An additional two suspects were arrested as they were throwing rocks and causing damage to the security fence.

Magen David Adom crews evacuated the man in moderate condition to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem.
