Heat wave: Record set for electricity use

An all time record in electricity use was set in Israel on Tuesday due to air conditioner use during the third straight day of the heat wave that is striking the country.
The Electric company reported that 10,700 Megawatts of electricity were used on Tuesday, breaking the previous record which was set on Monday.
The Electric Company called to the public not to use electrical appliances unnecessarily between the hours of noon and five o' clock on Tuesday.
