The IDF Home Front Command will launch a campaign on Sunday aimed at preparing the Israeli public for earthquakes.

The command will issue new instructions how it expects the public to act in the case of an earthquake. The primary instruction is for people to flee buildings and homes as quickly as possible and if that is not possible to enter a bomb shelter or a secure room. If that is also not possible, people should seek cover under furniture.
