Hurricane Danielle reaches Category 4 in the Atlantic Ocean

MIAMI — Hurricane Danielle became a Category 4 storm on Friday still far out over the Atlantic Ocean.

Danielle's maximum sustained winds increased Friday to nearly 135 mph (215 kph) with some additional strengthening possible.

Danielle is located 545 miles (875 kilometers) southeast of Bermuda, and is forecast to pass east of that island on Saturday night.
