Col. Moshe Levi, Liaison and Coordinator Supervisor at the Erez crossing, stated Wednesday that the international left-wing flotilla headed towards Gaza with humanitarian aid is merely "a provocation."

"The humanitarian situation is fine and stable in Gaza and there is no shortage of food or humanitarian goods," Levi said to Channel 2.

According to Army figures, tens of thousands trucks with food, gas, building materials, humanitarian goods and medicine have entered the Gaza Strip over the last year since the conclusion of Operation Cast Lead.

Now is the time to join the news event of the year - The Jerusalem Post Annual Conference!
