IDF troops on Thursday arrested a member of Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas's security detail, the Palestinian Ma’an news agency reported Friday.

According to the report, Thabet Ja'aysa was detained with two others at the Hawara checkpoint near Nablus.

According to the report, the military confirmed arresting the three, but stated only that they were wanted for questioning by security forces.
