The IDF had arrested two Palestinians Authority officials in the Awarta village close to the Itamar settlement, Palestinian sources said Monday. The village is supposedly where the suspected murderers of the five family members are being hidden.

The Palestinian reports said that 12 Palestinians between the ages of 15 and 40 had been arrested, according to the village council chief Qays Awad.
