IDF bars Palestinians, left-wing activists from Hebron home

Just hours after Israeli security services evacuated settlers from the Beit Hamachpela home in Hebron, Palestinians and left-wing activists were barred from moving into an abandoned home in West Bank city.

Late Wednesday, the group arrived at an abandoned home, claiming that they had rented the place legally and stating that they had obtained proper documents from the Civil Administration.Settlers quickly confronted the group, after which IDF personnel arrived at the scene and evacuated the Palestinians and left-wing activists. There were no injuries as a result of the confrontation, according to the IDF Spokesman's Office.
