The recent nuclear test the US conducted in Nevada is a sign of American "aggression and domineering nature," Iranian state TV cited the spokesman for the Iranian parliament Committee on National Security an Foreign Policy as saying.

The test shows that Washington is still making efforts to produce and proliferate nuclear weapons, the Iranian legislator said.

He added that American claims about Tehran’s nuclear program are baseless.

The subcritical nuclear experiment was conducted on Wednesday.
