Iran's deputy FM visits Lebanon amid Land Day protests

Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Hussein Amir Abdel-Lahian reaffirmed his country's commitment to Lebanon on Friday while touring Southern Lebanon, Hezbollah's al-Manar reported.

The visit coincides with Land Day protests in the West Bank and Gaza, as well as along Israel's neighboring borders. Hundreds of people gathered at Beaufort Castle near the Israeli border to take part in demonstrations amid heightened security by Lebanese forces.
