Iran's parliament seeks to grill Ban on Palestinians

Iran's parliament invited UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon to answer questions on "the massacre of the Muslims in Bahrain, Myanmar and Palestine" in a meeting with its Human Rights Committee, the Fars News agency reported Saturday.
Fars News claims to be independent but is widely known to have close ties to Iran's Revolutionary Guards.
According to Fars, Committee Chairman Hadi Shoushtari said Iran's parliamentarians were "serious" about the meeting because of "shortcomings with regard to [Ban's] behavior."
Ban will be in the country for a meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement.
