Ironi Kiryat Shmona clinched the Israel Premier League title Monday with a 0-0 draw against Hapoel Tel Aviv.

The Northerners had an opportunity to take the title last week but failed to do so, suffering a 1-0 home defeat to Bnei Yehuda.

After the match, players and fans sang an ode to Kiryat Shmona coach Ran ben-Shimon, chanting "stay, stay, stay!"

With the win, Kiryat Shmona will take Israel's only spot in next year's Champion's League.
