Police Insp.-Gen. Yochanan Danino ordered Thursday the area operations branch head, Cmdr. Nissim Mor, to beef up police presence on all major roads and in sensitive crowded locations.

Danino was on his way to Eilat following the afternoon's triple-terrorist attack.

Special instructions were also been given to security cars and public transport officials in the south.

Special police units have been mobilized to the area.
