Israel deputy PM: changes in Egypt not over yet

PRAGUE — Deputy Prime Minister Dan Meridor says that after the toppling of Hosni Mubarak in Egypt the region still remains in "the eye of the storm."
Meridor, who is also Minister of Intelligence and Atomic Energy, told The Associated Press on Tuesday that Egyptian protesters' demands for freedom and free election were positive.
Meridor warned that it is too early to say if Egypt is in the road "to a fully democratic regime that maintains peace and stability."
Meridor said Israel hopes that the current development will weaken the radical forces in the region.
