Israel sent a terse letter of protest to the to the United Nations on Tuesday criticizing its Security Council for not addressing the barrage of rockets fired by Gaza militants into the country in recent days.

"Ten days, ten rockets and not one condemnation," the demonstratively short letter addressed to United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon read.



Israel's ambassador to the UN Ron Prosor said the current situation in which Palestinian militants habitually fire rockets and missiles at Israel was unacceptable and required international censure.
