Israeli firm unveils revolutionary new scales for trucks

The Israeli firm Tzach Orni on Monday unveiled a revolutionary new scale system for weighing trucks with their loads.

The nine-meter-long scales are the first in the world that come as oneunit, and are equipped with a sophisticated program to measure the exactweight of the truck and its load.

Several leading Israelis firms have already leased the new scales, which can measure weights of up to 60 tons.

The new system is meant to reduce overweight on roads and prevent accidents.
