Kadima on NGO bill vote: 'Sanity's triumph over PM's gov't'

The Knesset's rejection Wednesday of two bills proposing to probe left-wing NGOs is "sanity's triumph over Netanyahu's coalition," a Kadima spokesperson said Wednesday in an official statement.

"Likud and Israel Beiteinu's dangerous proposals were appropriately thrown out of the Knesset," the spokesperson said. "The absence of several MKs from the vote and the support of only nine Likud MKs for the legislation proves that they have not decided whether they support the prime minister."
