Former president Moshe Katsav's laywer, Avigdor Feldman, said on Monday that his client plans to appeal the rape charges against him.
"The punishment is heavy, and we think there are a lot of flaws in the verdict," Feldman said. "We will try to ask for an appeal by the seventh of May."
