In remarks made before his meeting with President Shimon Peres on Thursday evening, US Secretary of State John Kerry said that he is "convinced... that this moment is a really critical one for the region and particularly for Israel, for Palestine, for Jordan."Kerry stated in a press release prior to the meeting that peace was a matter of choice, but Israelis do not wake up every morning and wander about it, because there is already "a sense of security and a sense of accomplishment and a sense of prosperity."Addressing Peres personally, Kerry is planned to tell him that he is "the world’s great statesmen," and a "treasure for Israel."
