Kerry visit postponed because of wife's illness

US Secretary of State John Kerry will not be coming to the region at the end of the week as originally planned to continue his efforts to re-start Israeli-Palestinian negotiations because of the illness of his wife Teresa Heinz Kerry.

Israeli officials said that the visit, which would be his sixth since March, was postponed so Kerry could stay near his wife in Boston. No new date has yet been set.
