Labor primary still too close to call with 23 percent of votes counted

Labor MK Isaac Herzog holds a lead over incumbent chairwoman Shelly Yacimovich in the party primary with just under a quarter of all votes from registered members counted, Israel Radio reported early Friday morning.
According to the report, Herzog has 53 percent of the vote, while Yacimovich garnered 45 percent, with 23 percent of the votes counted. The two candidates are separated by just 550 votes, making the final outcome still too close to call.
