Levi Aron pleads guilty to murder of 8-yr-old Leiby Kletzky

Levi Aron, on trial for the murder of 8-year-old haredi boy Leiby Kletzky in Brooklyn last year, pleaded guilty as part of a deal by which he will serve 40 years in prison.
Brooklyn District Attorney Charles Hynes agreed to offer Aron a plea bargain at the urging of Kletzky's parents who wanted to avoid a lengthy and painful trial, according to the New York Post.
Aron admitted to kidnapping the boy and then panicking and killing him when Kletzky's disappearance set off an all-out search in the ultra-Orthodox community of Burrough Park.
According to the Post, Aron told the judge in the Brooklyn courtroom that he cut the boy's body up with a knife, put the pieces in a suitcase and disposed of them in a dumpster.
