TUNIS - Western air strikes hit military and civilian sites in Al Jufrah district in central Libya on Monday, Libyan television said, quoting a military source.

"Civilian and military sites in al Jufrah were hit today by the bombardment of the colonial and crusader aggressors," Libyan TV said.

Al Jufrah lies some 460 km (290 miles) southeast of the capital Tripoli.
