Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's government "censures the world and further isolates Israel," opposition leader Tzipi Livni charged on Sunday, rather than "recruiting the world to join us in our battles."

"This doesn't make Israelis proud, and it's not right in terms of security," she added. "In Operation Cast Lead we proved that terror and radicalism can be fought legitimately, by working with the world rather than against it."

During that operation against Hamas in Gaza, she said, "the world believed in us."
