Opposition leader Tzipi Livni met with Norwegian Foreign Minister Jonas Gahr Støre in Jerusalem on Wednesday, speaking out against the phenomenon of countries recognizing a Palestinian state.

"The stagnation in the peace process is very problematic but the nations of the world should not be tempted into unilaterally declaring a Palestinian state outside the parameters of a political arrangement," Livni said. The two also discussed the international community's dealings with Iran.
