The Knesset legal advisor decided to suspend MK Ahmed Tibi for a week on Tuesday, for a comment he made about MK Anastasia Michaeli, Israel Radio reported.

A week earlier, MK Michaeli was suspended for a month after dumping a cup of water on MK Ghaled Majadle during a heated debate in the Knesset Education Committee.

Tibi, who joked that Anastasia's plumbing must have been broken by rhyming her name with the Hebrew for plumbing, said he was stunned by the decision.
