MK Itzik Shmuli bashed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for the transfer of $15 million to Hamas from Qatar on Thursday.

"The cabinet threatens the media to topple Hamas, but in practice helps fuel it every month in suitcases of money," Shmuli said. "Netanyahu and his government have completely lost control of the south."

In early November, another $15 million was transferred to Hamas via a vehicle with three suitcases stuffed with cash that entered the Gaza Strip through the Erez crossing. The money was given to Hamas by Qatar. The chairman of the Qatari Committee for the Reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, Mohammed al-Emadi, entered Gaza with the cash. The funds could only have entered Gaza with Israel’s approval.
