A man was found shot to death in a car parked on the side of Highway 4 late Tuesday night, Shfela sub-district police reported on Wednesday morning.

The victim, 25-year-old Eli Ezra, an Ashkelon native, was shot in the upper body and found dead by paramedics shortly thereafter.

Shfela sub-district police would not give any more details as of mid-day on Wednesday, but added that the investigation has been handed over to the Central District branch of the YAMAR investigative district.
