Man wounded in J'lem knife fight dies of wounds

A 24-year-old Arab man from Kfar Akav in the area of east Jerusalem died on Friday of injuries he sustained in a knife fight on Thursday night.

The man was admitted to Sha'are Tzedek Hospital in serious condition with stab wounds to his neck.

Two others were slightly injured in the incident.

The brawl in which the injuries occured took place between Arab and Jewish youths in Jerusalem.

Police suspect the participants were under the influence of alcohol. Two suspects were arrested Friday in the stabbing. They were scheduled to face a remand hearing in Jerusalem Magistrate's Court.
