Medvedev: Security failures allowed airport bombing

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev on Tuesday said security failures allowed a suspected a suicide bomber to strike at Moscow's Domodedovo airport on Monday, Reuters reported.
"It's obviously a terrorist act that was planned well in advance in order to cause the deaths of as many people as possible," Medvedev said. "What happened shows that there were clear security violations," he said.
No group has taken responsibility for the attack which killed 35 people and wounded dozens.
