Ministry opposes privatization of day care center supervision

The Health Ministry expressed concern on Sunday over a bill on supervision of day care centers that was approved Sunday by the Ministerial Committee on Legislation as preparation for its second and third reading in the plenum. The ministry said that the bill states that the centers will be supervised by private companies rather than public institutions.
This is "another problematic move whose cost for a private examination will be paid for by the public," the ministry said.
