CAIRO - Two sons of ousted Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak were being detained for 15 days in a corruption investigation, Egyptian state television said on Wednesday.

Alaa and Gamal Mubarak had been summoned by state prosecutors probing accusations of embezzlement. Their father has said details of their bank accounts will disprove suspicions of profiteering and illegal gains.
