The Navy on Friday rescued two Israeli citizens whose catamaran had overturned about six kilometers from the Michmoret beach.

One of stranded passengers was immediately spotted on top of the capsized yacht, while the other was found a long while later after drifting with the currents further out into the sea.

The troops gave the second passenger preliminary treatment at the scene before transporting both of them to Herzliya on a Navy ship.
