Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke Tuesday with Russian president Vladimir Putin and expressed Israel's disappointment over Russia's decision to lift a ban on the sale of the advanced S-300 air defense system to Iran.

Netanyahu told Putin that the move would only serve to increase Iran's aggression and put the security of the Middle East at risk.
