New Israeli envoy to Jordan formally takes up post

Israels new envoy to Jordan, Einat Shlein, presented her credentials to Jordan's King Abdullah II on Monday, making her Israel's first female ambassador in the Arab world.

Shlein, a veteran diplomat who has served previously in Amman, as well as in Washington, was appointed last September.
