MILAN - The death toll in the second quake to hit northern Italy in just over a week has risen to three, Italian news agency ADN Kronos reported on Tuesday.
Local media earlier said one person was killed by the 5.8 magnitude quake that struck near the Italian city of Modena at around 0700 GMT.
Italian authorities have not yet given any official confirmation of the number of victims.
