Noam Schalit said that his son Gilad was feeling well, and that he had slept through the night, Israel Radio reported Wednesday.

Noam, who made the comments outside his family's home in Mitzpe Hila, said the family was starting to return to a normal way of life after Gilad's release from captivity in Gaza.

According to the Israel Radio report, Gilad was seen leaving the house on Wednesday, but did not speak with the press.
