One dead, one seriously injured in car accidents

An 50-year-old pedestrian was killed Wednesday morning by a truck while crossing the intersection of Rehov Remez and Rehov Rozanski in Rehovot. Magen David Adom evacuated the man suffering from multiple injuries to Rehovot's Kaplan Hospital. Police were investigating.

A short while later, another man sustained serious head injuries in Lod after being run over in Sderot Hamelech David, and was evacuated by MDA to Assaf Harofeh Medical Center in Tzrifin. This accident was also under investigation.
