Over 100 protest at Japan nuclear plant operator TEPCO

TOKYO - Over 100 people were protesting on Wednesday outside the Tokyo headquarters of Tokyo Electric Power Co , the operator of the earthquake-crippled Fukushima nuclear plant in northeast Japan.

Reuters witnesses said the protestors were chanting "Stop nuclear power".

Engineers at the plant are struggling to stabilise damaged reactors and prevent an catastrophic meltdown of the fuel rods.
