Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu criticized on Sunday the Palestinian plans to head to the UN for statehood recognition, saying the "unilateral action...is a violation of Palestinian commitments and agreements signed with Israel."

Speaking with Norwegian Foreign Minister Jonas Gahr Støre, Netanyahu also expressed his condolences for the loss of life in a terrorist attack on the island of Utoyea earlier this summer.
