Israel will always stand behind its officers and soldiers, who in their IDF service protect the Jewish state, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu declared on Tuesday at the annual INSS conference.

The prime minister made the comments on the backdrop of a Turkish court's indictment against an ex-IDF chief of staff and three other senior officers over the deaths of nine Turkish activists during the IDF raid of the Mavi Marmara in 2010.
