Four children were lightly to moderately injured in the central Gaza Strip on Saturday morning when an explosive device left in the area east of Deir al-Balah detonated, the Palestinain Ma'an News agency reported.

Sources in Gaza claimed that the IDF was responsible for the explosive device.

Gaza security services were investigating the incident which took place some 4 kiliometers from the border fence.
