Palestinians say settlers cut down 40 olive trees

The IDF, the police and the Civil Administration were investigating Palestinian complaints that settlers cut down 40 olive trees in the West Bank village of Luban al-Sharkiya, near Nablus early Saturday, Israel Radio reported.

The owner of the land discovered the damage when he arrived at his olive groves early Saturday morning, according to the report.
