Parents of hit-and-run victim: 'We are living a nightmare'

The parents of Amir Balhsan, the 12 year old boy who was knocked over in a hit-and-run accident, requested that the court not accept the plea bargain of the two suspects which would give them reduced sentence.

The prosecutor requested that the sentence of Penina Toren and Omri Naim be reduced to three years.

"We are living a nightmare" claimed the parents.

The accident took place ten months ago while the boy was riding his skateboard. The couple allegedly ran the boy over and did not stop to check on him.
